Traumatic bleeding simulation for hemorrhage control training with physiological blood flow response

Bleed and Repeat complete prototype setup including the display, manikin, and blood reservoir.

Project Description:

Bleed and Repeat, a bleeding control simulator, offers a highly realistic approach to preparing military personnel for treating combat injuries. The device provides real-time feedback using pressure sensors and integrated tactile, audio, and visual components. The system simulates active bleeding, responds to interventions like tourniquet application or wound packing, and generates detailed reports on performance. By offering immediate feedback and enhancing user engagement, the mannikin aims to reduce reliance on high instructor to student ratios and improve overall training outcomes.
